Πυθαγόρας ἠξίου μὴ μόνον λογιώτατον, ἀλλὰ καὶ πρεσβύτατον ἡγεῖσθαι τῶν σοφῶν τὸν θέμενον τὰ ὀνόματα τοῖς πράγμασι.
