κάθηται δὲ μέχρι συντελείας. »ἵνα ἴδωσιν εἰς ὃν ἐξεκέντησαν«. ἐξεκέντησαν δὲ τὸ φαινόμενον, ὃ ἦν σὰρξ τοῦ ψυχικοῦ. »ὀστοῦν γὰρ αὐτοῦ οὐ συντριβήσεται« φησί· καθάπερ ἐπὶ τοῦ Ἀδὰμ τὴν ψυχὴν ὀστοῦν ἠλληγόρησεν ἡ προφητεία.

English · Claude translation

And he sits until the consummation, “so that they may see him whom they pierced.” But they pierced what appeared, which was the flesh of the psychic. “For not a bone of him shall be broken,” it says; just as in the case of Adam the prophecy allegorized the soul as bone.
