Summary: The same God gave both covenants and gave philosophy to the Greeks; from both Greeks and Jews believers are gathered into one saved people, and God raised prophets for the Greeks too.

πρὸς δὲ καὶ ὅτι ὁ αὐτὸς θεὸς ἀμφοῖν ταῖν διαθήκαιν χορηγός, ὁ καὶ τῆς Ἑλληνικῆς φιλοσοφίας δοτὴρ τοῖς Ἕλλησιν, διʼ ἧς ὁ παντοκράτωρ παρʼ Ἕλλησι δοξάζεται, παρέστησεν. δῆλον δὲ κἀνθένδε. ἐκ γοῦν τῆς Ἑλληνικῆς παιδείας, ἀλλὰ καὶ ἐκ τῆς νομικῆς εἰς τὸ ἓν γένος τοῦ σῳζομένου συνάγονται λαοῦ οἱ τὴν πίστιν προσιέμενοι, οὐ χρόνῳ διαιρουμένων τῶν τριῶν λαῶν, ἵνα τις φύσεις ὑπολάβοι τριττάς, διαφόροις δὲ παιδευομένων διαθήκαις τοῦ ἑνὸς κυρίου, ὄντας ἑνὸς κυρίου ῥήματι· ἐπεί, ὅτι καθάπερ Ἰουδαίους σῴζεσθαι ἠβούλετο ὁ θεὸς τοὺς προφήτας διδούς, οὕτως καὶ Ἑλλήνων τοὺς δοκιμωτάτους οἰκείους αὐτῶν τῇ διαλέκτῳ προφήτας ἀναστήσας, ὡς οἷοί τε ἦσαν δέχεσθαι τὴν παρὰ τοῦ θεοῦ εὐεργεσίαν, τῶν χυδαίων ἀνθρώπων διέκρινεν, δηλώσει πρὸς τῷ Πέτρου κηρύγματι ὁ ἀπόστολος λέγων Παῦλος·

Moreover, he showed that the same God is the provider of both covenants, and is also the giver of Greek philosophy to the Greeks, by which the Almighty is glorified among the Greeks. This is clear from the following as well. From Greek education, and also from the law, those who accept the faith are gathered into the one race of the people being saved: not that the three peoples are divided by time, so that one might suppose three natures, but they are trained by different covenants of the one Lord, being by the word of the one Lord. And that, just as God wished to save the Jews by giving them the prophets, so also he raised up the most esteemed of the Greeks as prophets of their own in their own language, as they were able to receive God's benefaction, and distinguished them from the common run of men, the apostle Paul will show, besides the Preaching of Peter, saying:
