τίς ἔθνος τὸ μηδʼ ἀκουσθὲν ἐξ αἰῶνος, οὐκ ἐν γωνίᾳ ποι γῆς λεληθὸς, ἀλλὰ καθʼ ὅλης τῆς ὑφʼ ἡλίῳ ἱδρύσατο; τίς εὐσεβείας ὅπλοις οὕτως ἐφράξατο τοὺς στρατιώτας ὡς ἀδάμαντος τὰς ψυχὰς κραταιοτέρους ἐν τοῖς πρὸς τοὺς ἀντιπάλους ἀγῶσι διαφαίνεσθαι;
