ὡς ἂν διά τε τῆς σῆς στερρότητος καὶ διὰ τῆς λοιπῆς τῶν συνιόντων ὁμοψύχου καὶ ὁμόφρονος συνέσεως καὶ τοῦτο, ὅπερ ἄχρι τοῦ δεῦρο φαύλως διʼ αἰσχράς τινας ζυγομαχίας παραμεμένηκεν, ἀκουσθέντων πάντων τῶν μελλόντων λεχθήσεσθαι παρὰ τῶν νῦν ἀπʼ ἀλλήλων διεστώτων, οὕσπερ ὁμοίως παρεῖναι ἐκελεύσαμεν, δυνηθῇ εἰς τὴν ὀφειλομένην θρησκείαν καὶ πίστιν, ἀδελφικήν τε ὁμόνοιαν κἄν βραδέως ἀνακληθῆναι. ὑγιαίνοντά σε ὁ θεὸς ὁ παντοκράτωρ διαφυλάξαι ἐπὶ πολλοῖς ἔτεσιν.” Ἀντίγραφον βασιλικῆς ἐπιστολῆς, διʼ ἧς χρήματα ταῖς ἐκκλησίαις δωρεῖται.

so that through your firmness and the harmonious and like-minded understanding of the rest who assemble, this matter too, which has continued wickedly until now through certain shameful quarrels, may, after all that is to be said by those now at variance with one another (whom we have likewise commanded to be present) has been heard, be recalled, even if slowly, to the religion and faith that are owed, and to brotherly concord.
