Τούτῳ μὲν οὖν ἄνωθεν ἐξ οὐρανοῦ καρπὸν εὐσεβείας ἐπάξιον, τὰ τρόπαια τῆς κατὰ τῶν ἀσεβῶν παρεῖχε νίκης, τὸν δʼ ἀλιτήριον, αὐτοῖς συμβούλοις ἅπασι καὶ φίλοις, ὑπὸ τοῖς Κωνσταντίνου ποσὶ πρηνῆ κατέβαλεν.

To him, then, God granted from heaven above the fruit worthy of his piety, the trophies of victory over the impious; and the guilty one, together with all his counselors and friends, he cast down headlong at Constantine's feet.
