Τοῦτον δὲ τὸν Μάρκον πρῶτόν φασιν ἐπὶ τῆς Αἰγύπτου στειλάμενον τὸ εὐαγ- γέλιον ὃ δή καὶ συνεγράψατο κηρῦξαι, ἐκκλησίας τε πρῶτον ἐπʼ αὐτῆς ᾿Αλεξανδρείας συστήσασθαι.
