Οὕτω δῆτα οὐρανίῳ δυνάμει καὶ συνεργίᾳ ἀθρόως οἷά τις ἡλίου βολὴ τὴν σύμπασαν οἰκουμένην ὁ σωτήριος κατηύγαζε λόγος, αὐτίκα ταῖς θείαις ἑπομένως γραφαῖς ἐπὶ πᾶσαν προῄει τὴν γῆν ὁ φθόγγος τῶν θεσπεσίων εὐαγγελιστῶν τε αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀποστόλων, καὶ εἰς τὰ πέρατα τῆς οἰκουμένης τὰ ῥήματα αὐτῶν.

So then, by heavenly power and assistance, the saving word suddenly lit up the whole inhabited world like a ray of the sun, and at once, in accordance with the divine Scriptures, the voice of his inspired evangelists and apostles went out into all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.
