ἀναπέμψαντα δὲ αὐτοῦ τὸ ἀμὴν καὶ πληρώσαντος τὴν προσευχη “οἱ τοῦ πυρὸς ἄνθρωποι ἐξῆψαν τὸ πῦρ, μεγάλης “ ἐκλαμψάσης φλογὸς θαῦμα εἴδομεν οἶς ἰδεῖν ἐδόθη “ οἳ καὶ ἐτηρήθησαν εἰς τὸ ἀναγγεῖλαι τοῖς λοιποῖς γενόμενα.

When he had uttered the Amen and completed the prayer, the men in charge of the fire lit it; and when a great flame blazed out, we to whom it was given to see saw a marvel, we who were also preserved to report what happened to the rest.
