οἱ δʼ ἐπὶ ῾Ρώμης ἤκμαζον, ὧν ἡγεῖτο Φλωρῖνος, πρεσβυτερίου τῆς ἐκκλησίας ἀποπεσὼν, Βλάστος τε σὺν τούτῳ παραπλησίῳ πτώματι κατεσχημένος. οἳ καὶ πλείους τῆς ἐκκλησίας περιέλκοντες ἐπὶ τὸ σφῶν ὑπῆγον βούλημα, θάτερος ἰδίως περὶ τὴν ἀλήθειαν νεωτερίζειν πειρώμενος.

Others flourished at Rome, led by Florinus, who had fallen from the presbyterate of the church, and with him Blastus, overtaken by a similar fall. They drew away many from the church and led them to their own will, each trying to introduce innovations concerning the truth in his own way.
