καὶ αὖθις δὲ μετὰ βραχέα ταῦτά φησιν “εἰ γὰρ μετὰ “Κοδρᾶτον καὶ τὴν ἐν Φιλαδελφείᾳ Ἀμμίαν, ὥς φα- “σιν, αἱ περὶ Μοντανὸν διεδεξαντο γυναῖκες τὸ προ- “φητικὸν χάρισμα, τοὺς ἀπὸ Μοντανοῦ καὶ τῶν γυ- “ναικῶν τίνες παρʼ αὐτοῖς διεδέξαντο δειξάτωσαν· “δεῖν γὰρ εἶναι τὸ προφητικὸν χάρισμα ἐν πάσῃ τῇ “ἐκκλησίᾳ μέχρι τῆς τελείας παρουσίας ὁ ἀπόστολος “ἀξιοῖ· ἀλλʼ οὐκ ἂν ἔχοιεν δεῖξαι “τον ἤδη που τοῦτο ἔτος ἀπὸ τῆς Μαξιμίλλης “τῆς.”

And again shortly after he says: “For if, as they say, the women around Montanus succeeded Quadratus and Ammia in Philadelphia in the prophetic gift, let them show who among them succeeded Montanus and the women. For the apostle holds that the prophetic gift must be in the whole church until the final coming. But they cannot show anyone, though this is already the fourteenth year from the death of Maximilla.”
