καὶ εἰ πεποίθησιν ἔχου- “σιν, στήτωσαν ἐν τούτῳ, καὶ διορισάσθωσαν “τούτοις, ἵνα ἐὰν ἐλεγχθῶσι, κἂν τοῦ λοιποῦ παύ- “σωνται πλημμελοῦντες· δεῖ γὰρ τοὺς καρποὺς δο- “κιμάζεσθαι τοῦ προφήτου, ἀπὸ γὰρ τοῦ καρποῦ τὸ “ ξύλον γινώσκεται.

And if they are confident, let them stand firm on this and settle it, so that, if they are convicted, they may at least stop offending in future. For the fruits of the prophet must be tested; for the tree is known by its fruit.
