καὶ ταῦτα μὲν τοιαῦτα. ὁ μέντοι Ἀδαμάντιος, καὶ τοῦτο γὰρ ἦν τῷ Ὠριγένει ὄνομα, Ζεφυρίνου κατὰ τούσδε τοὺς χρόνους τῆς Ῥωμαίων ἐκκλησίας ἡγουμένου ἐπιδημῆσαι τῇ Ῥώμῃ, καὶ αὐτός που γράφει λέγων “εὐξάμενος τὴν ἀρχαιοτάτην Ῥωμαίων ἐκκλησίαν ἰδεῖνʼ’, ἔνθα οὐ πολὺ διατρίψας ἐπάνεισιν εἰς τὴν Ἀλεξάνδρειαν.

So much for this. Adamantius — for this too was Origen's name — when Zephyrinus was leading the church of the Romans at this time, himself writes somewhere that he stayed at Rome, saying, “wishing to see the most ancient church of the Romans.” After a short stay there he returned to Alexandria.
