ὂν οὐδὲ τοσοῦτο πλῆθος καὶ οὕτως ἀναγκαῖον ἐν ‟τῇ ἐκκλησίᾳ, διὰ τῆς τοῦ θεοῦ προνοίας πλούσιός ῾τε καὶ πληθύων ἀριθμὸς μετὰ μεγίστου καὶ ἄνα ‟ριθμήτου λαοῦ, ἀπὸ τῆς τοιαύτης ἀνεκαλέσατο τε ‘καὶ ἀπαγορεύσεως ἐνέτρεψέ τε καὶ ἀνεκαλέσατο εἰς ‟τὴν ἐκκλησίαν.”

Yet not even so great a multitude, so necessary in the church, a number rich and growing by the providence of God, together with a very great and innumerable people, turned him back from such desperation and failure and recalled him to the church.”
