Ἐν τούτῳ καὶ Ἰούδας συγγραφέων ἕτερος, εἰς τὰς παρὰ τῷ Δανιὴλ ἑβδομάδας ἐγγράφως διαλεχθεὶς, ἐπὶ τὸ δέκατον τῆς Σεβήρου βασιλείας ἵστησι τὴν χρονογραφίαν, ὃς καὶ τὴν θρυλουμένην τοῦ ἀντιχρίστου παρουσίαν ἤδη τότε πλησιάζειν ᾤετο· οὕτω σφοδρῶς ἡ τοῦ τότε καθʼ ἡμῶν διωγμοῦ κίνησις τὰς τῶν πολλῶν ἀνατεταράχει διανοίας.

At this time Jude, another writer, having composed a discussion of the seventy weeks in Daniel, brings his chronology to the tenth year of the reign of Severus. He thought that the much-talked-of coming of the Antichrist was then already near; so violently had the stirring of the persecution against us at that time disturbed the minds of many.
