Οἵ γε μὴν ἀμφὶ τὸν Γάλλον οὐδʼ ὅλοις ἔτεσι δύο τὴν ἀρχὴν ἐπικατασχόντες ἐκποδὼν μεθίστανται, Οὐαλεριανὸς δὲ ἅμα παιδὶ διαδέχεται τὴν ἡγεμονίαν.

Gallus and those with him, having held power not quite two whole years, were removed, and Valerian with his son succeeded to the government.
