ποῦ δὲ Γερμανὸς ‟νη; τίς δὲ περὶ αὐτοῦ λόγος; ἀλλὰ τῆς πολλῆς “ἀφροσύνης, εἰς ἣν ἐμπίπτω διὰ Γερμανόν, ὑφίεμαι, διὸ καὶ τὴν καθʼ ἕκαστον τῶν γενομένων διήγησιν παρίημι τοῖς εἰδόσιν ἀδελφοῖς λέγειν.”
