τὰς δὲ συνεισάκτους αὐτοῦ γυναῖ- “κας, ὡς Ἀντιοχεῖς ὀνομάζουσι, καὶ τῶν περὶ αὐτὸν “πρεσβυτέρων καὶ διακόνων, οἷς καὶ τοῦτο καὶ τὰ “ἄλλα ἁμαρτήματα ἀνίατα ὄντα συγκρύπτει, συνει- “δὼς καὶ ἐλέγξας, ὅπως αὐτοὺς ὑπόχρεως ἔχῃ, περὶ “ὧν λόγοις καὶ ἔργοις ἀδικεῖ, μὴ τολμῶντας κατηγο- “ρεῖν τῷ καθʼ ἑαυτοὺς φόβῳ — ἀλλὰ καὶ πλουσί- “ους ἀπέφηνεν, ἐφʼ ᾧ πρὸς τῶν τὰ τοιαῦτα ζηλούν- “των φιλεῖται καὶ θαυμάζεται — τί ἂν ταῦτα γρά- “φοιμεν;

And as for his ‘spiritual sisters,’ as the Antiochenes call them, and those of the presbyters and deacons about him, with whom he conceals this and their other incurable sins, knowing and having convicted them, so that he may keep them in his debt, not daring to accuse him for the wrongs he does in word and deed, through fear for themselves — indeed he has even made them rich, for which he is loved and admired by those who covet such things — why should we write of these things?
