English · Claude translation
But when Paul was quite unwilling to leave the church building, the emperor Aurelian, being petitioned, decided most fittingly what should be done, ordering the building to be assigned to those to whom the bishops of the doctrine in Italy and the city of the Romans should write. So the man mentioned was driven out of the church with the utmost disgrace by the secular power.
