εἶτα δὲ καὶ τῶν ἄλλων τῆς θεοσεβείας ἐχθρῶν πᾶσαι αἶ τιμαὶ περιῃροῦντο, ἐκτείνοντο δὲ καὶ πάντες οἶ τὰ Μαξιμίνου φρονοῦντες, ὅσοι μάλιστα τῶν ἐν ἀρχικοῖς ἀξιώμασιν ὑπʼ αὐτοῦ τετιμημένοι τῇ πρὸς αὐτὸν κολακείᾳ σοβαρῶς ἐνεπαρῴνησαν τῷ καθʼ ἡμὰς λόγῳ·
