horum ergo mentem cum vidisset dominus posse eos veritati favere, bonos quoque permanere, iussit opes eorum circumcidi, non enim in totum eorum tolli, ut possint aliquid boni facere de eo, quod eis relictum est, et vivent deo, quoniam ex bono genere sunt. ideo ergo pusillum circumcisi sunt et positi sunt in structuram turris huius.

When, then, the Lord saw their mind, that they could favor the truth and also remain good, he ordered their wealth to be cut away, not taken away entirely, so that they could do some good with what was left to them, and they will live to God, because they are of a good race. So they were cut a little and placed in the building of this tower.
