et tamen ante eos Deo dispensante diu regna tenuerunt Assyrii, Medi, Persae, Graeci etiam et Aegyptii, cum Pontifices et Aruales et Salios et Vestales et Augures non haberent nec pullos cauea reclusos, quorum cibo uel fastidio res publica summa regeretur.
