Haec et huiusmodi propudia nobis non licet nec audire, etiam pluribus turpe defendere est: ea enim de castis fingitis et pudicis, quae fieri non crederemus, nisi de uobis probaretis.

"These and similar shameful things we are not allowed even to hear; even to defend ourselves is disgraceful to many. For you invent about chaste and modest people things we would not believe could happen, unless you proved them about yourselves.
