Igitur cum omnes hac spectaculi uoluptate caperemur, Caecilius nihil intendere neque de contentione ridere, sed tacens, anxius, segregatus dolere nescio quid uultu fatebatur.

So while all of us were taken with the pleasure of this spectacle, Caecilius paid no attention and did not laugh at the contest, but, silent, anxious, and apart, showed by his face that he was pained by something.
