κακῶν δʼ ἀμνηστία παλαιῶν ἦν, καὶ λήθη πάσης δυσσεβείας, παρόντων δʼ ἀγαθῶν ἀπόλαυσις, καὶ προσέτι μελλόντων προσδοκίαι. ἥπλωντο δʼ οὖν κατὰ πάντα τόπον τοῦ νικητοῦ βασιλέως φιλανθρωπίας ἔμπλεοι διατάξεις, νόμοι τε μεγαλοδωρεᾶς καὶ ἀληθοῦς εὐσεβείας γνωρίσματα περιέχοντες.
