ὑπὲρ δὲ τῶν τοιούτων ἤδη καὶ “πολλοὶ τῶν περὶ τὰς ἐπαρχίας ἡγεμόνων καὶ τῷ “θειοτάτῳ ἡμῶν ἔγραψαν πατρὶ, οἷς καὶ ἀντέγραψε “μηδὲν ἐνοχλεῖν τοῖς τοιούτοις, εἰ μηδὲν φαίνοιντο “περὶ τὴν τῶκ ῾Ρωμαίων ἡγεμονίαν ἐγχειροῦντες. καὶ “ἐμοὶ δὲ περὶ τῶν τοιούτων πολλοὶ ἐσήμαναν, οἷς “δὴ καὶ ἀντέγραψα, κατακολουθῶν τῇ τοῦ πατρὸς “γνώμῃ

Concerning such people many of the governors in the provinces have already written to our most divine father, to whom he replied that they should not trouble such people unless they appeared to be attempting something against the Roman government.
