εἰ δέ τις ἐπιμένοι τινὰ τῶν τοιούτων εἰς “πράγματα φέρων ὡς δὴ τοιοῦτον, ἐκεῖνος ὁ καταφε- “ρόμενος ἀπολελύσθω τοῦ ἐγκλήματος, καὶ ἐὰν φαί- “νηται τοιοῦτος ὢν, ὁ δὲ καταφέρων ἔνοχος ἔσται “δίκης. προετέθη ἐν Ἐφέσω ἐν τῷ κοινῷ τῆς Ἀσίας.”

But if anyone persists in bringing any of these people to trial as being such, let the one accused be acquitted of the charge, even if he appears to be such, and let the accuser be liable to punishment. Published at Ephesus in the Council of Asia.”
