τούτοις μεθʼ ἕτερα ἐπιλέγει “ ἐφοράτωσαν ἐν τοῖς πλατέσιν ἤδη πεδίοις ἀνθοῦντα “τὰ λήϊα καὶ τοῖς ἀστάχυσιν ἐπικυμαίνοντα, καὶ τοὺς “λειμῶνας διʼ εὐομβρίαν φυτοῖς καὶ ἄνθεσι λαμπο- ‘μένους, καὶ τὴν τοῦ ἀέρος κατάστασιν εὔκρατον “καὶ πραοτάτην ἀποδοθεῖσαν·

After other things he adds: “Let them look at the crops already flourishing in the broad fields and waving with ears of grain, and the meadows gleaming with plants and flowers through abundant rain, and the state of the air restored to temperate and most mild.
