“And the rest of the psalm showed that he knew that his Father would grant him all things as he asked, and would raise him from the dead; and that he urged all who fear God to praise God because he had mercy through the mystery of this crucified one on every race of believing men; and that he stood in the midst of his brothers, the apostles, who repented of having forsaken him when he was crucified, after he rose from the dead and persuaded them that even before he suffered he had told them that he must suffer these things, and that these things had been proclaimed by the prophets; and that, living with them, he sang praise to God, as is shown in the memoirs of the apostles to have happened.
