Εἶπα· ἰδού εἰμι, ἔθνεσιν οἳ οὐκ ἐπεκαλέσαντό μου τὸ ὄνομα. Ἐξεπέτασα τὰς χεῖράς μου ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν ἐπὶ λαὸν ἀπειθοῦντα καὶ ἀντιλέγοντα, τοῖς πορευομένοις ὁδῷ οὐ καλῇ, ἀλλὰ ὀπίσω τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν αὐτῶν. Λαὸς ὁ παροξύνων με ἐναντίον μου.

“‘I said, Here I am, to nations who did not call on my name. I spread out my hands all the day to a disobedient and contradicting people, to those who walk in a way that is not good, but after their sins. A people that provokes me before my face.’
