Καὶ ὁ Τρύφων σιγήσαντός μου εἶπεν· Ὅτι μὲν ἡ φραφὴ τοῦτο ἀναγκάζει ὁμολογεῖν ἡμᾶς, φαίνεται, ὅτι δὲ ἀπορῆσαι ἄξιόν ἐστι περὶ τοῦ λεγομένου, ὅτι ἔφαγε τὰ ὑπὸ τοῦ Ἀβραὰμ κατασκευασθέντα καὶ παρατεθέντα, καὶ σὺ ἂν ὁμολογήσειας.

And when I was silent, Trypho said, “It is plain that the Scripture compels us to admit this; but you too would admit that there is reason for perplexity about what is said, that he ate the things prepared and set before him by Abraham.”
