Καὶ ὁ Τρύφων ἔφη· Τοῦτο πειρασόμεθα πράξειν. Πάλιν ἐγὼ ἔφην· Πρὸς τοῖς ἀνηρωτημένοις καὶ νῦν ὑπʼ ἐμοῦ πάλιν ἀνερωτήσασθαι ὑμᾶς βούλομαι· διὰ γὰρ τῶν ἀνερωτήσεων τούτων καὶ περαιωθῆναι σὺν τάχει τὸν λόγον ἀγωνιοῦμαι. Καὶ ὁ Τρύφων ἔφη· Ἀνερώτα. Κἀγὼ εἶπον· Μήτι ἄλλον τινὰ προσκυνητὸν καὶ κύριον καὶ θεὸν λεγόμενον ἐν ταῖς γραφαῖς νοεῖτε εἶναι πλὴν τοῦ τοῦτο ποιήσαντος τὸ πᾶν καὶ τοῦ Χριστοῦ, ὃς διὰ τῶν τοσούτων γραφῶν ἀπεδείχθη ὑμῖν ἄνθρωπος γενόμενος;

English · Claude translation

And Trypho said, “We will try to do this.” I said again, “Besides the questions already asked, I want to ask you again now; for by these questions I will strive to bring the argument quickly to an end.” And Trypho said, “Ask.” And I said, “Do you think that anyone else is called in the Scriptures worthy of worship and Lord and God except the one who made this universe, and Christ, who has been proved to you by so many Scriptures to have become man?”
