Καὶ ὁ Τρύφων· Δυνατὸν καὶ ταῦτα οὕτω θεραπευθῆναι περὶ τρόπου βρώσεως, παρʼ ὃν ἀναλώσαντας τὰ παρασκευασθέντα ὑπὸ τοῦ Ἀβραὰμ βεβρωκέναι γεγραμμένον ἐστίν. Ὥστε ἔρχου ἤδη ἀποδώσων ἡμῖν τὸν λόγον, πῶς οὗτος ὁ τῷ Ἀβραὰμ ὀφθεὶς θεὸς, καὶ ὑπηρέτης ὢν τοῦ ποιητοῦ τῶν ὅλων θεοῦ, διὰ τῆς παρθένου γεννηθείς, ἄνθρωπος ὁμοιοπαθὴς πᾶσιν, ὡς προέφης, γέγονεν.

English · Claude translation

And Trypho said, “It is possible for this too to be explained in this way, about the manner of eating, by which it is written that they ate, consuming what was prepared by Abraham. So come now and give us the account of how this God who appeared to Abraham, and is the servant of God the Maker of all, having been born through the Virgin, became a man of like passions with all, as you said before.”
