Εὐφράνθητι ἔρημος καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν καὶ αἱ ἐπαύλεις, καὶ οἱ κατοικοῦντες Κηδάρ εὐφρανθήσονται, καὶ οἱ κατοικοῦντες πέτραν ἀπʼ ἄκρου τῶν ὀρέων βοήσονται, δώσουσι τῷ θεῷ δόξαν, τὰς ἀρετὰς αὐτοῦ ἐν ταῖς νήσοις ἀναγγελοῦσι. Κύριος ὁ θεὸς τῶν δυνάμεων ἐξελεύσεται, συντρίψει πόλεμον, ἐπεγερεῖ ζῆλον καὶ βοήσεται ἐπὶ τοὺς ἐχθροὺς μετʼ ἰσχύος.

English · Claude translation

“‘Rejoice, wilderness, and its villages and hamlets, and those who dwell in Kedar shall rejoice, and those who dwell in the rock shall cry out from the tops of the mountains; they shall give glory to God, they shall proclaim his virtues in the islands. The Lord God of hosts shall go out, he shall crush war, he shall stir up zeal and shall shout against his enemies with strength.’”
