Καὶ ὁ Τρύφων· Εὖ ἴσθι, ἔφη, ὅτι καὶ πᾶν τὸ γένος ἡμῶν τὸν Χριστὸν ἐκδέχεται, καὶ ὅτι πᾶσαι αἱ γραφαί, ἃς ἔφης, εἰς αὐτὸν εἴρηνται, ὁμολογοῦμεν· καὶ ὅτι τὸ Ἰησοῦς ὄνομα δεδυσώπηκέ με, τῷ τοῦ Ναυῆ υἱῷ ἐπικληθέν, ἐνδοτικῶς ἔχειν καὶ πρὸς τοῦτο, καὶ τοῦτό φημι.

And Trypho said, “Know well that our whole race awaits the Christ, and we admit that all the Scriptures you have quoted were spoken of him; and I also say that the name Jesus, given to the son of Nun, has shamed me into yielding on this point too.
